Practice Tuesday evening from 7:30 – 9:00 pm

The St. James United Church Senior Choir meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 pm until 9:00 pm for practice. Our Choir consists of the four vocal parts for women and men: Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass sections. We enjoy learning new anthems especially for the Easter and Christmas seasons as well as singing our favorite hymns. Our work provides the congregation with leadership during the singing of hymns at Worship Services and outreach through our love of music by praising God with song.

St. James United Church Senior Choir is recruiting! If you have any interest in singing at all, we would love to have you come out and sing with us! We rehearse once a week and sing in church twice a month. This choir is open to ALL skill levels – we’re all about making music together and having fun.

Please contact Choir Director Emma Clark at if you have any questions or if you would like to join!

Sight Restored (Mark 10:46-51)

Our praise band “Sight Restored” is the Worship Team for our Contemporary Services held at 9:30 a.m. every second Sunday from September to June. Sight Restored has also participated in the Canadian Bible Society Gospel Festival, Burry Heights Fun and Fellowship Day, held concerts for fundraisers at St. James as well as supported outreach fundraising activities within the community.

Please join us at our contemporary worship to “make a joyful noise”. You can tap your feet to the beat and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with a sweet treat!

Our worship schedule is printed in each edition of “The Visitor” and available to view on our website.
